This documentary series uses disposable film cameras dispensed to strangers, friends and family. The subjects were instructed to engage with the camera and capture their surrounding atmospheres. As expected there were mixed reactions; some people considered it a chore while others were enthusiastic with the project. At first I handed out cameras to people I hardly knew but then found myself more interested in giving cameras to friends and family at social events. The results became more interesting as did the reactions of friends - usually negative - who did not get a camera. As the project developed the instructions were often ignored, but the dialog between the subject and the camera became more important.
