Research Training Scheme (RTS)

For local research students only

Under government funding arrangements many Australians/Permanent Residents may be exempt from tuition fees through the Research Training Scheme (RTS). RTS places will be allocated to research candidates’ at the time of enrolment.  Candidates will hold the allocated RTS place for the period of the candidature: up to a maximum of two years of full-time equivalent funding for research masters, and fours years for doctoral students.  Student who have had prior candidature in another research course at the same level in the past three years will have this deducted from their maximum entitlement.
