Folio and Interview guidelines for Honours

Applicants who meet the minimum academic requirement will also be required to attend an interview and present a portfolio of studio work for appraisal.

The works should be selected carefully to showcase the technical skills, visual sophistication and current theoretical interests of work produced either during your undergraduate degree, or in the course of independent practice.

The content of your folio should include

  • up to 15 and no less than 10 major pieces of work that best demonstrates your practice and concerns to date
  • supporting research activity such as drawings, sketchbooks, notebooks or journals that demonstrate your developmental and working process

Where possible, the selection panel will prefer to see original work; otherwise good quality prints are expected.  CD-ROM, video and web-based submissions are also acceptable.

Prepare your folio to be viewed with ease.  Interviews are short, no more than 20 minutes. Please keep packaging simple and functional.
