Entry requirements for HonoursThe minimum admission requirements are: b) the normal Monash University minimum English language requirements for undergraduate students, http://adm.monash.edu.au/admissions/undergrad/entry-requirements/english-requirements.html
d) Interview and folio assessment e) All Honours applicants are asked to submit a research proposal (in addition to the application form, citizenship details and academic transcript). This proposal should outline a potential topic, project or areas of research interest. The proposal should be at least 750 words in length. For more information please refer to guidelines on page 5 of this application form. f) Students applying for the Honours degree of the Bachelor of Visual Arts with a theory/art history specialisation are required to: 1) Have achieved a minimum weighted average mark of 70% in the third year of the degree 2) Students must have completed a major sequence in an art and design field 3) As part of the previous degree, students must have completed a minimum of four theory/art history units or units from another English rich discipline, and 4) An interview and folio assessment is not required. Monash Applicants Only: Students in a double-degree course are eligible to apply for admission into an honours program during their double-degree course, once they have completed all of the requirements to graduate with an Art & Design Bachelor's degree. Students are not permitted to defer an offer of a place in the honours program. Students who apply and are granted a place but then wish to defer their enrolment in the honours program must reapply when they are in a position to commence study. |
