Undergraduate Course Transfer

Course transfers within Monash University is a competitive process. Applicants interested in transferring must apply using the Monash University course transfer application by the due date.

Students may apply mid-year for available courses however consideration will be given as to whether the student will be able to follow their course progression.

Please note that those students applying for a course transfer should enrol in their current course as if they were continuing so as not to jeopardise their enrolment in the Faculty if the application for a course transfer is unsuccessful.

The minimum criteria for currently enrolled Monash students to be eligible to apply for a course transfer into the Faculty of Art & Design are that they meet the requirements listed below:

  • Successful completion of at least 24 points in a Monash University course
  • Satisfactory completion of prerequisite entry requirements (Please note applicants may be required to present a folio and attend an interview to be considered)
  • Submit an Application for Course Transfer form by the due date
