Online Research Network

The 2007 version of the Omnium Research Network hosted in the Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University has just been launched.

The Omnium Research Network provides a dynamic environment that strengthens the collegiate and interdisciplinary research culture that already exists between disciplines in Fine Arts, Design, Theory and Multimedia & Digital Arts. The virtual community is where individual researchers can actively engage within the community by showcasing their current and ongoing projects, exchanging information, collaborating and promoting a spirit of open and critical dialogue.

The network itself also provides the means for connecting with a larger international network of researchers in Art & Design. This year a number of plans are in place for providing direct opportunities to interact and collaborate with members of two other research networks: the College of Fine Arts (COFA) at UNSW in Sydney and the Royal College of Art in London.
