Getting to the Conference Venue

The Caulfield campus of Monash University is less than 10 kilometres from the centre of Melbourne and is easily accessible by both tram and train (Caulfield Railway Station is adjacent to the campus).

Public transport

The Caulfield Railway Station is adjacent to the campus and four train lines from the City stop at the station - Cranbourne, Dandenong, Frankston and Pakenham. You can expect a train every 3 to 9 minutes on weekdays up to 7pm. It is a 20 minute journey from Flinders Street Station in the city.

Driving

If you are driving to Monash University, Caulfield campus, see Map 68 (Reference F1) in the Melways street directory. The nine kilometre trip from the city will take about 25 minutes in peak hour and 15 minutes at other times. If you are coming from Melbourne airport, add another 45 minutes in peak hour (and 30 minutes at other times).

Parking

A user-pay, multi-level car park is available on campus for staff, students, visitors and the general public. Entry to the car park is from Princes Avenue as marked on the map. Ticket machine parking ranging from one to five hours is available in surrounding streets. Ticket machine parking is also available in the Caulfield Racecourse Car Park - entry via Normanby Rd.
