Art & Design Research Collaboration with Tsinghua University

Professor John Redmond, Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design, Monash University and Professor Li Dang Qi, Dean of the Academy of Arts and Design, Tshinghua University

The Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University and the Academy of Arts and Design at Tsinghua University in Beijing have committed to research collaboration and exchange.

Professor John Redmond, Dean of the Faculty of Art & Design at Monash University, visited Professor Li Dang Qi, Dean of the Academy of Arts and Design in September to sign an agreement to enhance educational, research and cultural exchange opportunities for students and staff and promote PhD Research.

This Research Exchange agreement will facilitate staff exchanges and encourage PhD candidates to undertake a period of research at the other institution. It may also lead to the establishment of a joint PHD degree.
