    Interviews

    We will contact all registered applicants by 11 November to advise interview details.

    • 8 August: first day to register to attend an interview (applicable to most MADA applicants)
    • 14 October: last day to register to attend an interview
    • 21 November – 2 December: interviews held at Monash University Caulfield campus

    Pre-Selection Activity

    • 8 August: first day to download the pre-selection activity (applicable to most architecture applicants)
    • 21 October: last day to submit the pre-selection activity

    MADA TALKS

    Taking place most weeks throughout the school term, our series of MADA Talks brings some of the top – and up-and-coming – artists, designers and architects to MADA to explain what they do. If you’re thinking about studying art, design or architecture, these talks are a fantastic way to explore the various paths your career could take.

    Join us for an introduction to our 30+ creative courses and learn about some of the careers they can lead to. An informal session will follow where you can meet staff, students and alumni and ask questions.

    MADA will be one of the 190 exhibitors at this year’s Expo. Our staff will be on-hand at the Monash University stand (Stand 51, Ground Level) to answer any questions you might have about our course options. Special presentations from Monash are on Thursday at 10.45am and Friday at 12.15pm.

    MADE@MADA

    Taking place during the school holidays, MADE@MADA is a one-day creative workshop that’s perfect if art, design or architecture might be in your future. Working in a creative studio environment, you’ll experiment with a variety of forms and contribute to a collaborative project to be exhibited on Open Day.

    MONASH UNIVERSITY OPEN DAY

    Here’s your chance to explore the campus, listen to a presentation or two, and have a go at the many hands-on activities taking place throughout the day. Open Day is a great opportunity to meet our staff, talk to students, and experience first-hand what it’s like to be a student here.     MADA WORKSHOPS

    Applying to many of MADA’s courses requires that you present a folio or complete a pre-selection activity. We consider much more than your academic scores – it’s a chance for you to show us that you’re the sort of inventive, innovative and driven person we’re after. You don’t have to attend the MADA Workshops in order to apply, but if you’re able to, they’re a fantastic way to get some insider tips on the process, spend some one-on-one time with our staff, and even take part in practice interviews.

    Our annual graduate exhibition transforms MADA’s learning spaces into one of Melbourne’s largest galleries. Wander through the campus while exploring works from 300+ of our best-and-brightest. It could be your own work on show here in a few years time!

      Master’s Degrees

      • Mid June: applications must be uploaded for study commencing Semester 2 (July)
      • Late October: applications must be uploaded for study commencing Semester 1 (February)
