Kitty

I wanted to build a monument to all the "dead poofs"
killed.
Everyone like the idea.
The Gay and Lesbian Memorial Project for Green Park
was born.
The City Council is now proud of the plans.
An architecture student:
Russell Rodrigo designed it - tall black steel shiny
sentinels towering above a platformed pink triangle
(a symbol of gay oppression or gay pride).
The poles are for the dead spirits.
They congregate as a black triangle
(for lesbians).
At our first meeting, Kitty Fischer, who was a young girl in
Auschwitz under Hitler's Germany, said that a
homosexual with a pink triangle saved her life.

Now that she lives in Sydney,
she likes to drive down the freeway furiously in second
gear
She is allowed to.
She survived through the Nazi Holocaust.
