Statement

Sarah Jones is interested in the intersection of design and visual arts. Her practice contests and questions the relationship and relevance of these two fields. Primarily she has worked as a collaborative artist with Brett Jones.

She has worked within the visual arts for the past fifteen years both as a collaborative and solo artist. She co-founded West Space Inc. with Brett Jones in 1992.

Research has been an integral aspect of her teaching and artistic practice. She ensures within my teaching program that knowledge gained is filtered through to students in an engaging and proactive manner.

She feels it is essential that a research practice informs and challenges issues and ideas raised within the teaching context.
