Andrew SimpsonPosition Title
Qualifications
Statement Andrew Simpson is a practicing architect and interior designer. A director of WSH Architects, he has over fifteen years of industry experience working on projects such as the Royal Festival Hall in London and Federation Square. Andrew was the recipient of the Kevin V. Kieran Prize at Harvard and the Edward and Penelope Billson Prize at Melbourne, graduating dux of the master and bachelor degree programs from these respective universities. As a Diploma Unit Master at the Architecture Association in London, he coordinated Meantime; Travelling Through Episodes of Distraction Economies in collaboration with the Berlin-based architect Jurgen Mayer H. The impact of contemporary cultural phenomena on architectural design is an ongoing research interest. He has taught design studios at the AA, Harvard Summer School, Melbourne and RMIT universities |
